Dear humanity! I am aware that you are stack at home, and it's hard to get laid in your pajamas and without shaving for weeks. But don't watch porn! The thing is, it kills your brain slowly. Let me tell you how. Our bodies have developed a strategy called the Coolidge effect. This strategy makes you want to have sex with new and new mates, assuring that the human race survives natural selection. This way a male can impregnate more female and that increases the population. It worked. There is a lot of us. And now let's talk Dopamine. Dopamine is responsible for wanting a reward, the reason you get up in the morning. And now that you know that I can show you how the circle of addiction looks like. It begins with seeing a possible way of getting a reward, and then dopamine kicks in, you use the drug or commit to the habit. And after you get the reward (endorphins and serotonin in porns case) you will see porn as a source of rewards. Porn is one of the strongest addictions because there are 2 very important things for our system: food and reproduction. And when these are the reward, it's easier to get trapped in the earlier mentioned circle. But what's wrong with not being able to stop watching beautiful naked women getting shagged, you might ask. The problem is that there are symptoms, and sometimes you don't even know that it's caused by porn. ADHD, OCD, social and performance anxiety are often misdiagnosed. You can have problems with erection and enjoying real sex. And last but not least, porn comes with a lovely extra: aggression and lack of control over yourself. These are scientifically proven facts. Please take care of your body and mind, be nice to them, and don't let porn to happen to you. And I'm not telling you to stop masturbating and be a nice Christian. Reading nasty books doesn't kill your brain as half as much. Or there are thousands of other opportunities to have a great time the way you have with the digital ladies. Be kind to yourself!
